Medical Astrology -Vedic View and Ayurveda

This Workshop by Isabel Guimarães will cover the following topics:

• The elements and planets in pathologies.
• The 12 signs in Vedic and Ayurveda perspectives.
• Plants - Use of Colors - Gemstones - Nutrition - Aromatherapy.
• The fingers of the hands and the planets.

Similarly, the twelve zodiac signs (rasi) follow the scheme of elements as signs of earth, water, fire, or air, starting with Aries and the fire element. The twelve houses (bhavas) relate to different parts of the body, mental functions, and health and disease factors, starting with the first house as the head and relating to our overall health. Most diseases are caused by vata dosha, the biological humor of air that governs our general pranic energy and the aging process. Reflecting this fact, the primary planet causing diseases is Saturn, but many more planets will be explored in this workshop in relation to pathology, as well as the indications of planets and signs, with nutrition, colors, aromatherapy, gemstones, and the fingers of the hand.
